I am surprised by this, too! Seems we've pretty much dropped the code speak and just cut to the chase these days. No more, "Teehee, it's kind of lemony!" More like, "HERE THERE BE PORN, PPL."
Man, that brings back memories. "Twist of lime". "Slight lemony flavor". Reminds me of my first summer spent reading slash and craving citrussy drinks.
Oh God, the memories. So hilarious. I haven't seen anything like it since, well y'know, I was in middle school and then it was only like a way to cover up what the fic was really about. It was all "I did this but I'm embarrassed sooooo...LEMONY!"
