Summary:  "Stop.  Just...stop for a minute, Cas."  The words reeked too much of the pain and the failure in his unanswered pleas to his Father; that they were spoken in Dean's soft voice only served to add to the weight of his charge's earnest entreaty.  And as always, he could do nothing but what Dean asked.
A/N:  I'm really not sure how happy I am with this.  I meant to post it along with the next part of The Stillness, but a migraine got in the way.  It feels a little OOC to me, but that's mostly Dean's fault because he's been an ass lately, in my opinion.  I just wanted an excuse to give Cas a freaking hug.  So here.
